Our ethos

As a studio we relish opportunities to work on a variety of schemes from contemporary to futuristic, those that call for tradition and those that call for a blend of all of these elements. Each project takes inspiration from the areas and lifestyle that surround it. This fusion is enhanced by a curation of ideas that stem from; a juxtaposition of nature against architecture, the rough and the smooth of natural materials against hand finished surfaces and a playful flourish through art.

George Wolstenholme

Lawson Robb’s Design Director George Wolstenholme, plays a imperative part in the group’s ever-expanding portfolio of Special Projects.

With a Masters in Yacht Design and a collective 10-year experience in the execution of both Superyachts and Ultra-Prime residential properties, hotels and unique bespoke furniture globally, George’s expertise is in the details and the art of bespoke. Driving the most innovative results across all stages of a project from inception to completion, his sensibilities lie most importantly with creating ‘for’ the client. He believes that cultivating relationships where an end-users lifestyle and ethos align totally with the design process ensures that any and all of the pushed boundaries strike exactly the right note.

Dovile Suarez

FF&E Designer and Design Manager
A graduate of London Metropolitan University, Dovile brings a wealth of experience, having delivered luxury residential and hospitality projects across Europe, the USA, South America, and the Middle East. Over the past fifteen years, she has led prestigious developments in Belgravia—many sold off-market—refining an acute understanding of value-led design.

Mathew Fitz-James

Interior Architect
With a decade of experience in high-end residential, hospitality, and yacht interiors, Mathew is detail-driven and technically precise. Educated at the University for the Creative Arts, his previous work includes the restoration of a three-storey synagogue in Monaco, multiple bespoke superyachts, and one of London’s largest private residences. Mathew’s ability to create cohesive spatial narratives ensures every design is both timeless and highly personal.

Polly Rutland

FF&E Designer
With a background in graphic design, Polly brings a visual sensibility that elevates our design presentations and ensures every detail is beautifully considered. Her passion for textiles and finishes, coupled with her understanding of spatial planning, adds a fresh and thoughtful layer to every project she touches. Before joining Lawson Robb, Polly worked in central London where interior architecture, project management, and procurement were her primary focus, with many of her projects nominated for SBID Awards.
